Before, during and after transport
A request sent through the website is neither an order nor a payment. Before any transaction, FOLIA MUNDI confirms availability, condition, total price, transport method, cost and the exact level of carrier liability or insurance in writing.
Our commitments
A condition record and dated photographs document the piece before packing.
Non-adhesive protection, cushioning, reinforcement and double boxing whenever fragility requires it.
Carrier, tracking, delivery method, cost and coverage ceiling are stated before payment.
If an incident occurs, FOLIA MUNDI gathers the evidence and manages the claim with the carrier.
Within Switzerland
Normally Swiss Post PostPac Priority with tracking and Signature.
The Insurance option or a solution suited to the item’s fragility, after the carrier’s terms have been checked.
Collection, personal delivery or specialist transport with the insured value confirmed in writing.
A liability ceiling is not a promise that the sale price will automatically be reimbursed. Compensation depends on proven loss and the carrier’s terms. FOLIA MUNDI therefore never promises “full-value insurance” without contractual confirmation.
The process
Non-binding request — tell us which piece interests you.
Written confirmation — availability, condition, total price, transport and coverage.
Your agreement — the piece is reserved under the stated terms.
Payment — only after that confirmation.
Preparation — condition record, photographs, packing and deposit are documented.
Tracking and receipt — the tracking number and instructions are sent to you.
On receipt
Photograph the parcel before opening it and keep the box, all protective materials and the contents.
Visible damage must be reported at delivery. Concealed damage must be reported immediately and no later than eight days afterwards.
Contact contact@foliamundi.ch without delay.
Outside Switzerland
Customs rules, cultural-property requirements and coverage limits vary by destination. Unique pieces are never assigned an automatic international rate.
