Bibliographical description
A sober bibliophile printing produced in post-war Lausanne.
The colophon states that the book was completed on 28 September 1945 on the presses of the Imprimeries Populaires and printed on fine white laid paper.
The title page repeats 1636 as the date of the original edition, while the editorial note correctly gives 1637. This is a typographical error in the 1945 printing, not evidence of an earlier Descartes edition.
